ASIS Members supporting members – On April 7, 2018 ASIS Chapter members participated in the “First Shots” handgun shooting class presented by the “Global Tactical Training Group” a business owned by ASIS member Gary Glemboski at 17 South Rod & Gun Club in Fleming, GA just south of Richmond Hill.

"Tom Roberts presented Former Marine Max F..... with the US Army Military Police History of the TET 1968 attack on the US Embassy, Saigon, RVN. Max was a part of the Embassy Marine Guard Company and Tom was a member of the 18th MP Brigade that responded to secure the US Ambassador's residence the first day of the TET Offensive. The history discussed the Marine defense of the embassy in detail.” Presentation made at our February 22, 2017 Chapter meeting in Hampton hall.

Our Savannah Low Country Chapter hosted five days of training conducted by the Department of Homeland Security in July and August. The courses were Surveillance Detection and Protective Measures. Photos above depict ASIS Members and a photo of the class.

The Southeast Georgia Chapter #293 was awarded their Charter Certificate by Pat King, ASIS RVP. From left to right Jim McGuffey, CPP®, PSP®,PCI® ASIS ARVP, Pat King CPP, ASIS RVP, Kevin Sparks, Chapter Chair, Alan Davies, Vice Chair. Kevin had served as the Vice Chair for the Savannah Low Country Chapter #283 until he was able to locate 15 members in the Brunswick, GA area to start the SE GA Chapter. This will save these local ASIS Members a four hour drive each month and serve to build an even stronger base.
