Forensic ArtJune 18, 2014 11:30 A.M. Venue: Hampton Hall, Bluffton, SC Speaker: Roy Paschal, Retired SC Law Enforcement Division Roy Paschal attended the Ringling School of Art, Sarasota, Florida. He was employed by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division for thirty years. Roy retired in 2008 as the supervisor of the Forensic Art Department. Forensic Artist responsibility includes composites, facial reconstructions and the computer updating of missing persons and fugitives. Roy received his training at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA. He has received specialized training at the Scottsdale Artist School and the University of Oklahoma. Specialized training in the aging of photographs of missing children was obtained at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children located in Arlington, VA. Mr. Paschal is past Chair of the International Association for Identification Forensic Art Discipline. He has been a guest instructor for the FBI Academy, University of South Carolina Anthropology Department and various law enforcement agencies across the country. Roy is currently lecturing and teaching workshop across the US. He consults on forensic cases through Paschal and Associates Forensic Consultants.
